Looking for car rental for Spain and Portugal. Can you rent a car in Spain (Malaga) and drop it off in Lisbon? If not, plan "B" would be to drop off the car in Sevilla, get to Fargo somehow and rent a car from there. Is that workable? What is the best way to get to Fargo?

This may be too late (we've been in Spain!), but we had a great experience using Nova RentaCar (www.rentacar-worldwide.com). We paid about $320 for 2 full weeks, intermediate size car with unlimited miles, including taxes and insurance. Great customer service, no glitches, &amp; no extra charge for pickup and return at different locations. Cost varies with locations, dates, etc. as nova works with different companies. Good luck!

carjet.com has great weekly rental rates from Malaga and I know you can drop off in a different location. We are using aspectcarrental.com since their rates were better from Madrid where we decided to pick up. They work with all the large car rental agencies like Alamo, Avis, etc., but have practically give-away rates that include all insurance, including CDW. Give them a try.

Try Pepecar.com they are a new company offering the lowest rates in Spain for rental cars. My wife and I just returned from two week in Spain and drove a wonderful Mercedes A-Class diesel for 260 euros unlimited miles. They only have locations in Madrid and Barcelona. I was very pleased.
