Car Rental Question--Rome/Venice

Thanks for all the hotel/apartment help---now, to focus on car rental!

I have used AutoEurope before and am fine using them again.

Question is, after being in Rome for 3 days and heading to Pienza, where should we pick up the car? Is there a Rome pickup that is easy to get out of and not confused----is it really that much easier to train somewhere and pick up the car?

This will be on a Saturday with drop off the next Saturday in Venice--I have an interest in seeing Orvieto but would be concerned about what cars might be there......

Suggestions please! Kathy

HI K,

Look up AE and see what cars they offer for Orvieto pickup.

Thanks Ira---do you think that is a lot easier than a Rome pick up?

No one knows your driving skill or confidence level but I would hesitate to pick up in Rome. If you are needing an automatic then choices will be very limited in Orvieto--it just depend on what you need. I find the Chiusi pick up to be simple as well, but it is not Orvieto---your call.
