car rental in the Netherlands

Can anyone recommend a good car rental agency ?We have used Kemwel in the past for other European destination, but not sure if they do the Netherlands too. Thanks.

I would suggest either Europcar or Hertz. However, try and reserve online and be sure to put your residence as in the US. Putting down a Dutch address will more than double the daily rate, plus you will be charged for mileage!

Hard to argue with Sjoerd, though sometimes deals offered abroad are better than would ever be advertised locally. Other broker resources are www.autoeurope.com and www.its-cars-hotels-cars.com And don't forget travelocity either. Best wishes, Rex

We did use Kemwel while we were in Europe & did pick up the car at the Amsterdam airport. It was very easy & we had no problem whatsoever. There were long lines (around 9:30 a.m.) & we had to wait some but that was the only glitch.
