You're apt to get replies quicker if you re-post your message with Ireland in the title. "Car rental" by itself doesn't attract much attention.

We rented through them for Ireland trips in May 2003 and 2004 and were very pleased.

Check also with Dan Dooley's office in US. Trish was great and had arranged an upgrade for us. Everything went smoothly, even using our Gold MC to waive CWD

Try AutoEurope, a wholesaler affiliated with major U.S. firms, for highly competitive prices -- albeit high compared to the U.S. and U.K.

lizard,

I just posted under another similar heading. We reserved with O'Scannlain for what we think is a great price for October. So far they have been very nice. We did have to prepay, though!

By the way, Autoeurope will match any price, so shot around first. I found a less expensive rate than they originally quoted me with Novarentacar and they matched it.
