Capri-Restaurant--Da Luigi ai Faraglioni

I came across this restaurant Da Luigi ai Faraglioni at Capri (near the Faraglionis ofcourse) while researching the place and honestly am quite tempted to take my wife there for lunch on our honeymoon! ..it seems a pricey restaurant, any pointers how much a meal for 2 might cost ? (we are both vegerterians so we might not be ordering any exotic sea food stuff)...also any recommendations for similar restaurants which might be less pricey but equally good in terms of location are most welcome! Thanks.

Da Luigi is one of two exactly restaurant/beach clubs at the base of the Faraglioni. The other is La Fontelina. I've never been to either (almost made it on my last trip, but weather interefered), but have heard that Da Luigi is slightly more reasonable than La Fontelina in terms of price. If you don't get an answer here, I would go to TripAdvisor for more detailed reviews, including prices. Be aware that while the view is stunning, it is a bit of a hike down there and back up. Smooth paving but relatively steep inclines. Some people prefer to take a boat in and/or out of Marina Piccola for that reason.

Capri is full of beautiful views. La Terraza Brunella -- part of the Villa Brunella hotel -- would be another great spot for a special lunch with a view, as would Le Grottelle. Again, check Trip Advisor for approximate costs and details. Good luck!

We ate at one; I want to say La Fontelina. It was FABULOUS. I wasn't a big fan of gnocchi until I had them here and frankly won't order them out most places as they can't compare to La Fontelina or my own. You can't beat the experience with either one. Walk down so that you really earn your meal, but take a water taxi back as the walk up is killer after the food and wine!
