You are going to have such a great time - what a wonderful trip to be taking with your family! I just returned from another month on this magical island, and am heading back again in September. The island is small and you can use taxis and the local bus service to take you between Capri and Anacapri. I love riding in the convertible taxis, a favorite indulgence at 15-20 Euro a ride, but always so much fun. You can easily walk so many places and explore the island on your own as well, always an adventure and you really can't get too lost. Although it will be crowded in the Piazzetta and main shopping areas, you can easily walk through beautiful neighborhoods and do quite a bit of exploring on your own. I would definitely recommend heading to one of the beach clubs - I happen to love Marina Piccola and swam most days at Bagni Internazonale - delicious food too! Would also recommend booking a boat to explore the island by sea - the local captains will take you to some incredible places to swim and other sea caves besides the Blue Grotto. The entire island is truly a wonderland - you will love every minute!
