In late June at a nice cafe in the Marais (Cafe Charlot), we paid 10 euros for two morning cappucinos at a streetside table. The next morning, at an equally nice cafe directly across the street, also sitting outside, we paid 7 euros and change (total) for a cafe creme and a cappucino. The street scene was more than worth the price at each place--it's what I like most about being in Paris.

I love cappuccino but in Paris I prefer the cafe creme because I find the cappuccino, though nice, too frothy.

Enjoy!

I should have said I was speaking of a cafe creme, not cappucino, in my earlier post about 3.5-4 euro per. When in France I just automatically order cafe creme and in Italy--in the morning---cappucino. Went right over my head.

Or if you are really hungry you could go to Breakfast in America, 2 locations. Coffee is 2.50Euro and they give refills. 2 eggs, bacon, hash browns and toast will be about 7 Euro

Talking about vending machines and coffee, I sometimes have to sit and wait at our local car dealership if they have done a repair etc. on my car. This is no hardship for me as one is invited to help yourself to numerous cups of your choice in coffees. I absolutely adore their Chocaccino! This I watch carefully as the hot espresso pours out followed by a thick chocolatey stream. I pull my cup away quickly before the top up of hot water jets out and this makes it extra indulgent.
I can't wait for another oil change............
