Any info on barge rentals on Canal du Midi is appreciated.

Here's the company we always use Locaboat Plaisance www.locaboat.com there is another excellent site called 'waterweb fluvial' but I don't have the URL handy... PB

We used Locaboat Plaisance two years ago and had a fantastic time. We did not do the Canal du Midi. We chose the Canal du Rhone in the Camargue region, mainly for the fact it had to fewest locks. Hope this helps.

Jerry and all others: You can get info about European Waterways at the site of Tourism Team Europe at: www.tte.ch They also have all sorts of links for European cities (hotels, map, etc.)
