Canal du Midi

My husband and I are cruising the Canal du Midi in May with Le Boat for a week from Homps to Port Cassafieres. So excited, but a reality question just hit me. Will my hubby be able to use his Cpap machine? Electricity?? Any experience out there?

Actually if you look at their brochure it tells you about power onboard. Page 91 of the Canal Du Midi online brichure.

Worth checking with the company though.

Per the brochure. The only regular power outlet is in the saloon (living room ) plus a shaver plug in the bathroom so it seems there is no power in the bedroom at all.

Are there battery operated CPAP machines ?

Thank you for the quick replies. Yes, I have looked through the brochure, but I thought I might find someone with real experience taking their machine onboard.

You shouldn't have any problems using your machine but you may need an adapter and will need to plug into shore power overnight. Can you reach out to us with your booking number so we can check what boat you're on and make sure the base is aware in case they need to put an extension cord on your boat if it doesn't have a plug in the cabin?
