Can you eat well on a Bateau Mouche

I'm planning a trip to paris for a bunch of pals in March. I have one who is real keen to do a dinner cruise and one who is a bit of a gourmand.

Can I get a meal that is better than average on a boat, do any of you know?

I have not taken a dinner cruise. But I knew someone who reserved one for her husband and herself. No. The food was not memorable so I doubt it was better than average. Most people here seem to feel that it's best to eat elsewhere before the cruise.

Hi S,

Dinner on board the BM is only so so.

Most folks recommend taking the ride and having dinner "el swear" (as they say on the BBC).

It will not be better than average. It will be more expensive than average and the cruise will be prettier than average. You can't have it all.

Umm. OK. That'll be no eating on the boat, then
