I will have a pay as you go phone from orange. I have a friend who will be bringing it to me from London. I will be using it in France, please help me to find out where the stores are located. Hopefully there is one at CDG

If you just want to top it up you can do that in any Tabac, many supermarkets etc, you do not need to find an Orange shop. If you are wanting to change the SIM so you are not paying roaming charges all the time (which you will be with a UK phone in France) then you will need an orange shop and they will have to unlock the phone to put a new SIM in it.

Is your friend bringing a UK Orange pay-as-you-go phone? Then you can't top it up in French Orange shop or through French Orange vouchers. http://www2.orange.co.uk/servlet/Sat...ame=PersonalIR
Basically you need to register a credit or debit card to your phone in UK, or get e-vouchers or normal paper vouchers in UK. Swipe top-up card can only be used in certain European countries but excludes France.
As for using a UK Orange phone in France (roaming), EU has now ordered operators to cut the charges to around 19p per min for receiving calls and 25p a min for making calls, which are quite resonable (it used to be around £1 a minute).
