Try
gotoday.com

if you really want a package. But look for airfare on your own, too.

I often see good deals on gotoday, especially if you are flying from NYC.

Check the hotels they offer on tripadvisor.com and check the locations. Sometimes they are awful.

Are there two people going? A package may not be your best deal. For two, if you find cheap airfare, there are so many reasonable places to stay, and any package will charge a per person rate that I can usually beat on my own.

Once in a while AA vacations makes the most affordable option. Especially if you have a Citibank credit card and enter the AA Vacations site thru the Citibank site, you get 5% off additional. You have choice of hotels to meet your price needs. We used this option in March and couldn't beat it doing independently, plus double the miles since we used the AA Citibank card and the AA site gives miles for hotel and airfare.

You don't need a package. Go to kayak.com for air and hotel. The matrix page shows me that prices are about $100/person cheaper if you leave on Tues. Oct 30 vs. any other day at the end of the month.

There appear to be some good hotel options on venere.com depending on your budget.

Go-today is a good idea. Basically, any airline that flies there probably has some -- so check United and Air France, they sometimes have good deals. Also, www.gate1travel.com has some packages to Paris.
