Campervan questions/agriturismo/reservations

I have a campervan reserved for a week trip. Starting in Naples, heading east to avellino, and then south to Castroregio, and then west to the coast and back to Naples. We would like to do one or two agriturismo stays. As I understand, agriturismo is a farm stay? When I look at some of the listings on Google maps, and Agricamper app, some of the ones that are labeled "Agriturismo" look like restaurants or Inns. Because of that, and wanting to maintain a fluid schedule, I'm hesitant to book reservations.

My main question is since I'm traveling mostly throughout a rural region of Campania, and Basilicata, how important are reservations for these agiturismo stays? We wil be traveling the first week of May.

Are you planning to use the camper van for your accommodation at an agriturismo? In my experience, an agriturismo is more like a bed and breakfast. I haven't seen any that are set up for camping, though that doesn't mean they don't exist. I would definitely make reservations and communicate to the owners your intent.
