Camper van travel in northern France
We’re thinking of hiring a camper van in Paris in October and heading north with our final destination being LevQuesnoybfor the centennial celebrations in early November. Any suggestions, comments ? Thanks

Most, if not all campsites will be closed, which means you will have to rely on Aires - camper stops which are often little more than a car park. They often have facilities to empty the grey water and WC, and take on water, but may not have electricity. Make sure the camper is winterised, with heating and warm bedding - it gets cold at night at that time of year.
You can see some, but not all aires on www.campercontact.com

I assume you have to return the campervan where you hire it so you'd have to drive it back to Paris. Me personally - would not want t be in a camper in November. Why not hire a car and stay in inns? (Plus you can probably do a one way car rental if that helps your itinerary)
