We are going to Italy next week and one of our destinations is Camogli. We want to go to the CinqueTerre, but how? We have a car but would prefer to leave it behind for this portion. Does anyone know about train or ferry schedules for this area. I have read prior post about Le Spezia to CT --but what about from the western area? <BR>Thanks! <BR>Mary

From my map, Camogli looks to be northwest of Santa Margherita & Portofino. Don't know if there's a ferry but did find the following by searching the train schedule. <BR>This is from the website for Italy train schedules at: <BR>www.fs-on-line.com <BR> <BR>Entered “Camogli” and “Monterosso” (the first CT town coming from the northwest) and here’s what I came up with. <BR> <BR>Once you get to Monterosso, you have several options on how to visit the other Cinque Terre towns. We spent time in Camogli and never rented a car the whole time. We took the train to the Cinque Terre. The train service was very good. I'd rather take the train any day than rent a car in that area!! Enjoy!!
