Camino de Santiago in March
I will be in Spain next March and can spend one week (starting around the 6th) on a project that I have long dreamed of - walking the Camino.
After speaking with a friend from Spain, apparently, it's not uncommon for people to walk stretches at a times over several trips (and years) before completing the Camino.
I don't think that I'd want to start at the beginning of the trail in winter, and I'd rather not start at the end either. Given the time of the year and the fact that it will be my first intro to the Camino, which 100-150 kms stretch would you recommend I start with?
Any suggestions as to a convent or monastery that would accept women for overnight stays? BTW, I speak Spanish passably well. Thanks for your suggestions.
