Cambridge UK
Hi I will be in Cambridge for about 6 days next week. Have 3 days of meetings. Travelling with a 11 year old. Wonder is there enough to do there for the remaining period or just be back in london for 2 days. This is an urgent trip so didnt have much time to research or be clever with flight bookings. On arrival day directly going to cambridge (monday). Tuesday is free until late afternoon. Some free time friday and on saturday as well.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Lots to do in Cambridge -- but if you run out of things that interest, you can always take a day trip in to LOndon.
Go punting, explore the colleges, Duxford https://www.iwm.org.uk/visits/iwm-duxford and more.

You can also take a day trip to Ely which is very pretty. There is a cycle path there and hiring bikes is very easy.

The cathedral in Ely is one of the best, too.
Audley End House (English Heritage) is accessible by bus, and there seems to be a miniature railway in the vicinity.
Sandringham will be open and you could look at King's Lynn on the way,
if you get tired of visiting colleges in Cambrige (don't miss King's College Chapel), the Botanical Gardens are good.
