Calling the US while in Europe
How do I call the US? Dialing instructions? Where do they sell phonecards. Can I buy cards now before I leave? Or is it better to buy a card once I'm there? I'll be in Rome, Amsterdam and Barcelona maybe more...tentative itinerary.

Buy cards after arrival in Europe.

Email from internet cafes is another good option for keeping in touch cheap.

Dial 001, then the 10-digit number.

As mentioned, wait until you're there to buy the phone cards.

Definitely wait until you're there to buy a phone card. They're super cheap and very easy to use.

Most Tobacco shops, post offices and sometime tourist info carry phone cards.
