Just another thought............how about the first or second weekend in January for the get together? This way everyone has time to plan;it would be great to visit during the winter dodrums and after holiday rush, etc.I am just tossing this out(so don't take my head off?)would anyone else prefer to have it out near the airport area or Schaumburg or someplace more in the central area of Chicago? The reason I am asking is that for alot of people-going into the city with the price of parking, traffic, etc. is sometimes a hassle depending on day and time of the year. The people from outside the city(Wisconsin and Indiana people)would have an easier time locating a place with easier on and off the tri state, etc.Whatever you guys decide-I will be willing to go to.I am very anxious to put the faces with names that have helped me through the years.Debbie

Hey, math is definitely NOT my forte! But, I'd be happy to organize.
Sounds like Cafe Iberico is the place and November 18th the day. Now, lets talk time. I called Cafe Iberico and was told they do not accept reservations on Saturdays. Given this info, I think we need to set a time that is somewhat early. The hours on Saturday are noon to 1:30am. I would suggest 4:00pm CST. It gives the folks who will be coming in from out of town time to get there. It also will give us a good amount of time before the crowds start. It can get pretty loud once it starts to fill up with people.
Another scenario might be meeting at 1:00 or 2:00 and making it an afternoon event. We could be done by the time the crowds hit. What do you all think?
I also like Debbie's idea of planning something in January. I know I would love to meet again in January to talk about everyone's holiday travels. This would also allow some of the Chicagoans that can't make November's event to make plans well ahead of time to attend. We could also plan that one at a different location, maybe closer to the airport like Debbie suggested.
