Hi LA - A taxi to Molo Beverello will normally cost € 35-40.
Alternatively there is a regular Airport Shuttle bus service to the port, which runs every 20-30 mins (- fare: € 3)

Hope this helps ...

It *should* cost less than 20 Euro, and it's not far. How long it takes - and the fare - depends on the traffic.
You can also take the Alibus to Piazza Garibaldi, which is where the train station is. Buses leave every 30 minutes, and the fare is 3 Euro.

Is this a relatively new bus, and is it in addition to, or a replacement for the old local bus that used to leave from near the MacDonalds near Piazza Garibaldi? (possibly a 3a - it has been a while since I last took it)
I ask because I was shocked that in Florence although one could travel on ATAF buses for 70 minutes for €1.20, the only way to the airport appeared to be the 20 minute trip on another ATAF bus at €4.50
