Ca, c'est Paris! What I'm doing on my hols

I've arrived in Paris on a two-week home exchange. Not exactly a trip report, but I'm writing some things
up on my blog and posting photos on Flickr, if anyone's interested:

Too bad the weather is not great, but the Paris Plages site of the Bassin de la Villette is still interesting every night.

It hasn't been bad - warm and quite sunny, but getting humid and sticky from time to time.

Of course, we're interested! We arrive in Paris on Sept. 9th and thought about doing the "bike thing" but it sounds kind of complicated. Last year we looked at them but didn't know how they work. MDH was good to go but I was not so hot on riding in traffic without a helmet. I think I'll stick to walking.

Most years Sept. is nice weather. We've only found it cold 1 out of 6 years. Hope this year is nice.

So many of us enjoy Paris so much, I'm surprised there is still room for the locals!!

Errr... some of us locals don't really think that there is all that much room anymore. I have to avoid certain areas for at least 6 months of the year myself.
