Buying Train Tickets to and from Prague
Hello,
I am backpacking for about 4 weeks in Europe and have bought all my train and airfare tickets except for my part of the trip where I'm traveling to and from Prague. My planned trip includes traveling on June 1st from Budapest to Prague and then on June 5th traveling from Prague to Berlin. I've read online that you can buy the tickets at the station, but others have said I should buy them in advance. Should I buy them in advance or will I be okay picking them up at the station?
Thanks,
Stew

always availabe at station but can save tons of money by booking in stone a specific train weeks early to get the limited in number discounted tickets - www.bahn.de/en for trains involving Germany - check www.seat61.com for info on discounted tickets - for general info also www.budgeteuropetravel.com and www.ricksteves.com.
q- how did you book your other train tickets? Why not the same with this one?

@PalenQ I booked them thru OBB. It wouldn't allow me to book a train to Prague thru their website>
Yes generally you have to book on a national web site of a country involved in the train.
One European in general booking site is https://www.thetrainline.com/
that gives fares generally matching those on national rail sites and is a snap to use - contrary to some of the others.
