Bus Turistic in BCN?
Just wondering whether it's worth it to purchase the bus turistic in BCN (16 for one day;20 for 2 days) to which covers the major 32 sights in BCN.

Appreciate if anyone can share their experience.
Thank you!
Leaving for Spain tonight! Hurray!

Hi Au-
You might not get many responses at this hour. If you are itching for answers, try typing "Bus Turistic" in the search box above. That will bring up old threads on the topic which will appear on the left hand side of the screen.

Hi Au,
I was just in Barcelona, and I did use the Bus Turistic. I bought the two day pass.
I'd say it depends. It depends on how much you like to walk, how comfortable you'd be using the metro, etc.
You can get to most, but not all, of the places on the Bus Turistic routes by metro, which would be cheaper.
So, my advice would be to get a Bus Turistic map and a metro map, and based on the things you want to visit, find out if the Bus Turistic would be worth it vs. buying a cache of metro tickets.
You sometimes have to wait for the buses and if it's a crowded stop you might have to wait for the second bus if you don't time it right, so there is an issue of wasting time being tied to the bus.
It was kind of fun to ride around on top of the bus and see the city, but I probably wouldn't do it again if I could do it over. I am very comfortable using metros.
Have a great trip.

I used the Bus Turistic 2 years ago. After all, I thought it was money well spent: it brings you relatively fast to the main spots you want to see offering a unique view from the upper deck. Excellent if you are only in Barcelona for 2 or 3 days, which was my case.
