Bus Tickets in Wurzburg

We will be staying near the Dom St. Peter. We will be taking bus number 9 to theFortress. What is the cost of a single ticket and where do I buy the tickets. Does the bus driver sell the tickets? Is there a ticket machine near the Dom whereI can get them and then do I validate the tickets on the bus?

Sorry , wrong church, ignore the
part about staying near the Dom (wrong. City!) but the rest of the
POst is correct. We are staying in the old town.

Sorry, cam find nothing about price/schedule of bus, just that it runs April through October. If you will be near the TI or main train station, ask inside. Can't be much. I believe I read that an all day public transport pass for greater Wuerzburg runs 4.60 Euro...
I walked up, taking breaks for the beautiful views as I ascended. I 'think' an English tour runs at 3 pm on weekends....

Thanks for the effort! As we will arrive by train I will look for a TI office there.
