Bus Nice Airport to Frejus

Holidaying near Frejus end of July as part of a group of 11 ,including 6 children between 7 and 17.
I've shopped around for a taxi fare and they are very expensive,€270 being the cheapest quote so far.

there appears to be a bus to Frejus from the airport for €140 for 10 tickets. Is it any good? Ok for children?

How expensive are the taxis in Frejus for the final 10 minute journey to the site?

Finally any tips for a day out,our time is limited,we're only there for a week

Sorry can't help with the bus, except to say that public transport is fine in France. I'd just take the bus.

For the children, there's a zoo in Frejus, and a water park.

You can take #99 bus from the airport to Nice Ville train station and then take a train to Frejus.

I think the train would be faster.

Wait!

I think it would be best if you took the train from Nice-St Augustin Station.

>>> Is it any good? Ok for children?

What is your criteria for being good? When is it not ok for children?

The Nice airport site has the bus info. It only runs every two hours.

You can see how the bus looks like, a typical intercity French bus.

Thank you all for your replies,

By good, mean safe, lean and efficient. find busses vary greatly from country to country, some commuter lines are overloaded and I wouldn't want to be on a packed bus for an hour with a multiple of stops

we have been quoted 300 euro as a taxi fare which seems expensive, does anybody know of a cheaper taxi option?

as was said above: easiest to get to Nice St Augustin and take the train from there. It's a nice train ride too.

Straen, take the train. Road traffic towards Frejus can be pretty bad in July. In a bus or taxi, you'll be stuck in that.

What happened to 270? It's expensive because you have 11 people andwanttogo 65 km away! That would be 3 cars at 100 euro each, not unreasonable at all, they have to get back to nice after all. If you don't like that, take the train
