Budget hotel in Paris

Hello,

Looking for a cheap but comfortable hotel in Paris. We're only going for a couple of days so would like to be in the best location at the best price. As long as it's clean, reasonably priced and not in too noisy a location we'll be happy! Can anyone help? Thanks!

Hi

I stayed at the Hotel Moliere which was abut £60 a night a very close to the Louvre. No frills but clean and perfectly adequate.

Look at jack-travel.com. He usually has some great budget choices. Stick to the central arrondisments 1-6 (even 7&8 might be okay)if you want good location. Also, there is another website that has "euro cheapo" in the title. Sorry I don't have the exact name but maybe a Google search will pull it up.

Try "Stella Hotel" in the latin quarter. It's nice, cheap , "romantic atmosphere" ( House built in 1780 !)and CLEAN !
Price for 2 : 50 Euros / night with bathroom
The rooms are very large, breezy.
E-mail: [email protected]
Site: http://site.voila.fr/hotel_stella

Careful! I think the reference to the Stella Hotel is a thinly disguised ad. Go to the website and notice all the "" marks, similar to the post here. Also check out photos of the rooms: the walls alone would give me nightmares!

We recently came back from Paris, and stayed at a place that might be perfect for you - the Hotel Du Dragon, in the Germain du Pres area. Clean, comfy, and not too noisy (tho ask for a courtyard room, it'll be quieter than the one we had on the street. Even that wasn't too bad tho). Very convenient to shops, two metro stations and walking distance to many sites. We had a double en suite for about $90 a night.

We stayed at Hotel Sevigne for four nights in May and were pleased with what we got for 69 Euros/night. It's a two star hotel in the Marais. Not fancy but it worked for us. We found it on Eurocheapo.com

http://www.le-sevigne.com/
