MmeLost - I agree about trains - to me it is what is between the tourist meccas that I see outside my train window that intrigues me more than what I find in at times a crowded mobbed tourist city - but agreed no time for day train on this time schedule.

MmePerdu, I can never assume that there will be taxis at the airport that will hold 4 adults and all their luggage. I would think that might take pre-arrangement with a livery service. I could be wrong. I'm sure you'll let me know if I am.

If you're right, and I suspect you are, if it is for 4 people then 2 taxis would do nicely. I've taken a taxi myself to Orly and if it had been expensive I'd have remembered.
