Budapest/Danube Bend by Boat
We will be in Budapest for 4 days in July. We would like to take a boat ride on the Danube Bend. Which boat/tour is the best one? Also, should we take a night cruise? If so, which one? Any help is appreciated!

I took the Danube Bend Tour by CityRama. I really enjoyed the tour. We were bused to the Danube Bend. We stopped at different places on the bus. We got on the boat at the Danube Bend and came directly back to Budapest. This was a very boring boat trip. You probably can check what is included in this tour by lookin up CityRama on the internet.
One of my top tours was the night cruise on the Danube. I do not remember the name of the company but the boat is by the Marriott Hotel. Make sure it is dark before taking the cruise. They have headsets explaining the sights along the river. This is only a cruise on the Danube alongside Budapest. The bridges and city are lit up. It is a beautiful sight to see.

I've only done the evening cruise on the Danube in Budapest. We were lucky to find a cruise that left just around sunset, so the first half of the cruise it was dusk (and light enough for photos), and the second half it was dark with all the lights on.
Originally we wanted to take the Legenda Cruise, but for some reason, their cruises are either during day time or night time; but none around sunset.
Here's the cruise portion of my trip report (with photos)

I've done one of the evening cruises (without food) in Budapest and enjoyed seeing Budapest lit up very much. The commentary wasn't bad, either. I also took a boat to Szentendre and found that stretch of the Danube very boring.
