Buckingham Palace tickets
I want to buy tickets to tour Buckingham Palace and there appear to be at least two options: direct with palace website or via London Pass. I have the pass (a gift) and am wondering whether there is any advantage in booking through them. Seems to be the same price.

I second your question, but I don't have the London Pass yet. From what I've seen of the Pass, it is set up for those who want to go to a lot of the different sites, i.e. get you into a lot of different places for a lower overall price. I tend to spend a lot of time at each site so I think I am going to buy entry into each site. I'd be interested in replies/suggestions as well.

Since the Pass is a gift - OK- no loss. (but still book the Palace tickets directly through the royal collection website)
regalind: The London Pass is not a great idea for most visitors. It is different for dreamon since he didn't pay for it himself.

Hi dreamon,
Can’t help you regarding tickets to Buckingham Palace – the Queen was there when I visited earlier this summer so it was not open to the public. But you could consider visiting these adjacent sites – THE QUEEN’S GALLERY and THE ROYAL MEWS, both very interesting and definitely “royal.”
