Brussels- Mariott,/Rennaisance/Courtyard
We will be spending two night in Bruges and then taking a train into Brussels. We only have half a day in Brussels and a few hours the next day, before we need to head out to the airport for a flight to Prague. We have never been to Brussels. We would like to take adavantage of our Marriot points - would you recommend the Brussels's Marriot, Rennaisance Brussels or the Brussels Courtyard. It would be nice to be centrallty located to see the sights, but also we need to think of flying out the next day and getting to airport. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would suggest www.flyertalk.com and then the Marriott Forum. Search Brussels on there. That's what I did for my Marriott decison in Paris.

Hi,
We had been looking at Marriott hotels in Brussels. I did alot of research before we decided to stay in Brugge instead.
I don't recommend the Courtyard. The Courtyard is by the airport but the shuttle is only free from the airport to the hotel. It is not free back to the airport. Plus it is out of downtown so your only ways to get to town are a taxi, bus, or shuttle to airport and then the train. Not a good location.
Go to tripadvisor.com and look at the reviews for the hotels. Just type brussels Rennaisance etc into the search bar. Then you can click on the reviews.

I agree with Lets go there - don't touch the Courtyard - its in the middle of nowhere with planes flying directly overhead.
The Rennaissance is in the EU area which is a bit dead.
I would suggest the Brussels Marriot which is in the centre of town. Though do request a quiet room as the area is quite noisy.

My husband and I stayed in the Brussels Mariott in December and it was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk to the Grand Place. I highly recommend it if you only have a short time to spend in Brussels since it is so centrally located.
