Britsh Airways or Virgin Airlines?

I would like to know of any opinions on which is the better airline, Virgin Airlines or British Airways? This would be nonstop from San Francisco to London. We have flown Virgin, but British Airways is a little cheaper. Thanks for any thoughts.

It is really a matter of personal opinion, unfortunately. This has been debated several times on the forums - you may benefit from searching for it and seeing some of the earlier threads. Good luck!

If you're flying coach, there is little difference. Keep in mind that you can earn usually 100% mileage on Continental's Onepass FF program when flying VS, while you earn 25% at the most on BA or other programs when flying BA.

A roundtrip is over 9,000 miles.

I would say Virgin if you have kids. They are great with kids but the leg room can be tight on this airline. yes even tighter than the regular tight cramps.

Thanks for the suggestions. Good web site about rating airlines. We decided on Virgin. Going to stick with what we know.

I've flown each - and they were both decent. I liked both for different reasons.
