BritAir phone numbers while in London

I'm having some trouble getting the BrAir phone number to use while in London and without a computer, just a telephone. First, there is a number to call to get arrival and departure info, etc. Second, there is a phone number to call from London to inquire about availability of ticketing for flights. Any experienced Brit have these numbers?

Not a Brit, but the different phone numbers sound quite self-explaining what they are there for.

If you can, go to

http://www.saynoto0870.co.uk/search.php

and put 'British Airways' (NOT 'BA') in the company search box. This will give you some alternative numbers to the 0844 numbers which are charged at a high rate. Use the '01/02/03' or 0800 numbers which are much cheaper.

Thomas in future please refer to the airline as BA or British Airways. As alanRow points out BritAir is a completely different airline.

For the record (and now I've finished sniggering at AlanRow's literal response), no "experienced Brit" would EVER refer to British Airways as "BritAir". This idiotic transatlantic term had absolutely no usage here in the UK and is likely to be met with bemusement, just as referring to "American Air" would be in New York. Even the expression "Brit" should be used cautiously - it can be seen as pejorative by some.

Thomas, I don't think any apologies are needed, but it is a common mistake that needs correcting. Everybody here knows that you meant British Airways, but if you asked directory enquiries for "Britair's" phone number, you would likely be given that of the French company.
