Ok, here’s my technique, I mean thoughts, on this…buy yourself some candy. I kind of like Dots and Swedish Fish. Then mix yourself a bag of candy and toss in your gummies and put it all into a small ziplock. Don’t be crazy. Throw the bag of candy into your carryon as a snack for the trip. In my experience, TSA is looking for explosives and weapons. Not a handful of gummies.

HUH?? -- TSA has absolutely nothing at all to do with importing illegal drugs/contraband into the UK. Whatever UK Border Control does/doesn't do, it certainly doesn't follow TSA's lead.

I hope that good, law abiding people have stopped reading by now. I respect them.
Thank you, nylilly! I'll pass that on. Sounds sound for the very few gummies intended.

From what I've read, you cannot fly with THC, even from places like Colorado to California, both states where it's legal.
The reason I believe, is that when your plane is in the air, air space is considered to be under federal jurisdiction, and they don't consider THC to be legal.

Adorable. Those are some fine dogs.
Yes! Absolutely keep the UK safe. But how disappointing for that pup to be looking for kilos of cocaine or people hiding in cat meat, yet find only three 5 mg THC gummies and a US $10 bill.

Yes. Of course, one likes to remain within the strict letter of the law.
How about some whataboutism:
Speed limits help protect everyone, yet almost everyone speeds and thinks nothing of it. Rampant selective law-abiding. Entering the UK without proper documentation of your home meds: Illegal. Not as dangerous to the UK as a middle-aged guy with a 5 mg THC gummy. But still.

"Not as dangerous to the UK as a middle-aged guy with a 5 mg THC gummy. "
What is "dangerous" is the what happens to you if you are caught.
The simple thing = buy some there.
Why you would want to risk the consequences for "just a 5 mg THC gummy" is beyond me.
Good luck to you if you decide to do this.

<People hiding in cat meat!!!> Now THERE is a tale I want to read more about...forget all this boring gummy stuff. For goodness sakes, who would be timid about bringing a few gummies inside a bag of candy, as a sage poster, above, recommended. Or even better..just buy them there.....
Wait..getting back to the cat meat.....were they live people..or dismembered former people inside the cat meat???

Thank you, eks! I was afraid to ask. I assumed illegal immigrants.
Also, what is cat meat?

Starrs, I like to wonder about the reason behind laws. I appreciate your concern for this person in question. My impression is you can't buy a THC gummy in the UK, because it is illegal.

I have zero concern for "this person". Whoever even contemplates this is a fool. IMO anyway.
I'd bet big $ that they don't dispense gummy bears for a good night's sleep in prison.
I also think anyone who is trying to justify the slipping in some special gummy bears in a ziploc bag of candy is a fool too.

Um. Okay. Are you having a rough day, Starrs?
I'm not on any prescription meds, knock wood, but my husband is, prescribed by three different MDs. Daunting. I know one of them would take the time to sit down and type up that information, but his cardiologist only gives us the time of day if we're sitting there paying for an office visit.
I would be curious what percent of fodorites comply with the UK med law, and are they concerned about getting caught? Not to pick on my beloved UK. I imagine other countries have similar laws.

Yes, I'm having a good day.
I still think anyone who would risk "drug stiffing dogs and windowless cell" for good night's sleep is a fool.
But thanks for asking about my day.
