No, I would not try to bring that stuff through security.

Recently, I was flying through SJU on my way to the Caribbean. We were chartering a sailboat for the week, so I tried to bring along some food that one cannot buy in the islands. Brie was considered a solid when we left JFK but had warmed enough to be considered a gel when we went through SJU a few hours later.

Bottom line: not worth the hassle

Why don't you just tell the airline what kind of meal you want? They have an extensive choice, including kosher, muslim, asian vegetarian, etc.?
