Bravissimo Totti

The Handsome Hunk, just recuperating from a broken leg, had the honour to score for his beloved Italy..
Italia- 1
Australia-0
Forza Italia..

Was that really a penalty though!
They did some great defending so probably deserved to win.

A very stomach-churning 93 minutes. Totti has always been a bit oversold IMO but he finally came thru at the most important time. Forza Azzurri!

One more time Italy wins by a simulated penalty...
It's not sport...
This year, the world cup is all but fun : too much simulations, too much real faults on the corners which are not punished...
I know to win is the goal for a lot of sport...but without the manner it's no
more an entertainment...
Don't know if I'll see other match this year..
I'm waiting for the use of the video to avoid all those antifair-play actions...
And in this game, Italy is certainly champion of the world...
Erik.

Some penalty.... I think Italy deserved a win, but frankly found it an embarassing way to get it. Yesterday's record of 16 yellow cards and 4 red cards takes the cake. the referee-ing is the main discussion on all the local (french) sports shows.

I'm Spanish, we don't have a special sympathy for the Azzurri (just in football, for every other thing we love Italy ) and it was a very clear penalty, not a fake one. Nothing more to say, they win. They always have luck on their side

Luck because they found a penalty in the last moment of the match when everybody thought they were going to play the half-hour added time, I didn't mean to bash Totti's work

The way the Italians are playing football is anything but handsome.

I love Italy. I am passionate about football. I hate Italian football - ultra defensive and full of gamesmanship.
