Boycott Scotland- I dare you!
I don't want to detract from the serious discussion taking place elsewhere on this subject, but I thought you might be amused to see this:-

Very nice, but except for the ZX81, all those were German inventions . TV or the telephone invented by Scots or even Americans, pah..
Yeah, boycott Scotland. It's raining too much there anyway, give them one more warning and then, if it doesn't help, bring freedom to them!

>>>Because of this I urge every American to Boycott Scotland. It is the only way we Americans can ensure that every nation maintains and respects our rules, our laws, and shares our viewpoint.<<<
I am afraid they do not understand the irony.

No, Maggie Thatcher invented global warming. She wanted to weaken the coal miners unions by stating that burning coal ruins the climate. She wanted nuclear energy instead. Now, everybody wants to reduce independence from Arabian and Russian oil and gas imports, and because no one would save energy because of this dependency, politicians took Maggie Th.'s invention to motivate politically correct but ignorant citizens to conserve energy.

You could stab a haggis.
BTW, would haggis count as a Weapon of Mass Destruction?
I managed to get onto the page.
The out-clicks are well worth the visit.
Don't forget John Napier who invented logarithms which were (all together now) a weapon of maths instruction.
