People from Asia are coming to Dogdyke lane?

I will never understand Americans.

There IS a pub in Dogdyke Lane, New York.

It's called the Packet Inn (which sounds like something from Carry On). Here's a piccie:

So around 7ish then? A few beers, a pie and then all go and get tattoos?

Sounds like a plan to me.

If we're going to Dogdyke Lane, New York, nr Boston, surely we should be thinking more in terms of sausages and the like rather than poncy fruitcakes.

I'm not sure I fancy eating at the Packet Inn:

Incidentally, if you are hunting google images for "dogdyke" don't put a space between dog and dyke if you have safe search switched off.

You have been warned.

Rhkkmk:

Is there another thread about this that hasn't yet been trashed?

I might be interested, but I have questions. Rather than bother you right away with e-mailed questions, I thought I'd first read what others might've asked and had answered.

Bob, it appears that I am probably available for lunch and possibly dinner on October 11. Thanks for organizing this again.

You all got to Dogdyke Lane a month too soon. Make sure you leave some Britneys for the rest of us.

Well that means we've got a whole month to get ourselves a regular table. Will they let you take darts on the plane? Because you're going to need your arrers. I'll go first. 501, double to finish. Ok?

I got double one, single twenty, double twenty. Total 62 - 437 left.

Your go.

Reminds me of my friend Ellen's son. When he was five years old and we were all staying in a house with no power for a week on Cape Cod after Hurricane Bob, he would wake up before everyone else and start playing Monopoly by himself.

When the first person woke up, he would say, "I've got red, you've got blue, red is winning and it's your turn."
