I am planning a trip to Russia next June or May; about 8 days total in Russia btw Moscow & St P's. My top priority is to see the Bolshoi and/or Mariinsky ballet companies perform, preferably both. Is it possible to get their schedules way in advance, like, now?

If it was me going to the Bolshoi Theater, I would make sure to purchase tickets for the Historic stage. There are also performances on the New Stage.

again, as with the Bolshoi theater, I would go for the Main Stage and not the new Theater.

Also, about ticket prices. Make sure you check the prices for performances on the official sites for both the Bolshoi and Mariinsky theaters. There are many sites that sell tickets at premium prices. You don't want to overpay. For example, the link I had in my previous post to the site that says "Ballet & Opera .com" has what seems to be kind of crazy prices.

I just compared ticket prices for July 28, 2016. Opera " Idiot" on New Stage.

And when the schedules are announced, make sure you book on the official websites. Check in September when the new season starts.
