I simply want to travel from Bodrum to Rhodes and then onto Athens without spending an excessive amount of time in transit (fat chance). If you had to do it, how would you do it. And if you think that adding Rhodes to the equation will make my travelling life a little bit too insane then pull it out and give me another idea..................PLEASE !

Don't you just, in the summer, take the hydrofoil to Rhodes (or the ferry or hydrofoil to Kos) then fly?

Or in the winter, take the ferry to Kos then fly?

I am looking at 15 th april this year. Is Kos a good place for a family of five ? dumb question I am sorry, frustration is getting the better of me !

Take the bus to Marmaris and ferry from there.

That was the original plan, I just thought I might be able to circumvent that bit of the overland travel. Looks like the original plan will be used. We could replace Rhodes with Kos, but my mate on Rhodes will be disappointed.

I think you have to go to cos and fly to Athens.
this is the best solution for this time of the year.
