BNP ATM in Orly airport?

Hi Everyone!

I want to be able to take full advantage of the no ATM fee partnership between Bank of America and BNP when in Paris. Does anyone know if there is a BNP ATM in Orly airport?

Thanks!!

No. HSBC has the concession at Paris airports.
You'll just have to grin and bear it and pay the fee.

BNP branches are thick on the ground once you get into Paris.

What decision is riding on whether one is there or not? You really don't have a choice, if there isn't one, you will have to pay the $5 B of A fee if you don't already have euro. That would be cheaper than paying a lot to get euro in advance from some US bank or any other method I can think of. If you have a little euro on you, say from a prior trip, you might wait until you get into Paris to avoid that $5 fee, but it could save you time from immediately having to search out a BNP ATM.

I believe B of A charges a 1 pct foreign exchange fee regardless of which ATM you use, so that wouldn't be an issue.

The B of A agreement with BNP is one of the most over-hyped, over-sold come-ons in US banking. Sure you don´t pay the $5 transaction fee if you use BNP for the withdrawals but many of us don´t pay a transaction fee at any French bank anywhere; BNP, HSBC, the Post Office Bank, any bank. Not only are B of A customers limited to where they can avoid fees, they are using what can be one of the most expensive, the most fee laden checking accounts available in the US banking customer.

With the exception of the 1% currency conversion fee, all withdrawal costs come from your local bank (B of A for instance) and many, many small banks and credit unions do not charge ATM fees. Check the costs at your local credit union.
