Birding in Holland around Amsterdam

Hello,

My husband and i are going to do a Europe trip in september. We want to do a lot of Birdwatching. We are staying 4 nights in Amsterdam and looking for a local bird guide / tour operator to provide us with a nice daytour of birdwatching close to Amsterdam in the netherlands ?
we are hoping to see a lot of geese, waterfowl and white taile eagle !

Many thanks for answers.

I've seen swans, ducks, and wild canaries on the west side of Haarlem. There are forests and dunes between Haarlem and the sea. Contact the tourist board, VVV.

A very nice area to go birdwatching is the Naardermeer (http://tinyurl.com/2q65j2
Only in Dutch.... ).
For information about the area just call: +31356951840.

Everyone with "Noord-Holland" behind their name is mostly to be foudn around Amsterdam.

The best place of all is the Oostvaarderplassen in Flevoland. A birders paradise. The Eagle you want to see lives and breeds there. Not sure of any tour operators that offer trips but it is easy to get to by car. Plenty of hides available

Just found this too - sounds like what you are looking for:

Although it's probably a bit too far and also you won't see birds in the wild, the Dutch Parrot Refuge is a wonderful sanctuary for exotic birds and injured wild birds:

we've visited it several times and are greatly impressed with the job they do. It's located near a pretty little town (Oerle), nice for stolling and having lunch.
