What a pleasant, informative, well written report. We'd expect nothing less from you! Pix are excellent..you captured the eseence of Scotland and reminded many of us that we've waited far too long to return. It's been '96, '87' and '80 for us.
By the way, which school in Denver did Lauren attend? We have a son and family there and visit often from California.
Your references to Cape Cod, NE lobsters, etc, brought a tinge of nostalgia to me...originally from Quincy...go back as often as we can.
Keep on travelin' and writing about it! Your report on Portugal was a help to us on our recent trip.

Our grandson got a baseball scholarship for Colorado State. He left from California last weekend.
DU has a fine reputation. Our son's office is just across from the campus. He's a renal doc.
