I tried about five times after becoming a member; never got any deal that I couldn't get on my own for free. THE worst waste of travel money I've ever spent. Stay away from them.

Tried qixo.com, TISS.com, travelocity.com, cheaptickets.com (this company just gave me FULL refund of three tickets to Rome (trip cancelled within 72 hours of departure), it took them 7 working days to do the transaction; needless to say I'm using them again).

I am a member so let me fill you in. If you see a specific fare you want and then sign up hoping to get it...forget it. It might not happen that way. On the other hand, if you want a (non-specific) great deal on a flight, someday, to somewhere...go for it! Beware that often the tickets are sold so cheap (e.g. by TWA) that they are non-refundable and even non-servicable. This means that if you miss your flight, for example, your tickets are worthless and they reportedly will not help you or treat you like other "higher paying" customers. This all stems from lost lawsuit between TWA and LowestFares.com and is somewhat complicated. On a brighter note, I am taking my son and my girlfriend to Paris during spring break for less than 1K. Lastly, when you see a price on Bestfares.com remember you'll always have to add a little bit for tax, fuel(?) and a processing fee. In my case it was about $50 per ticket but it will vary depending upon your actual destination. I'd say go for it! In fact, join with a few other people and split the cost. This appears to be all right with Bestfares. They never ask you about membership information when you call to book a flight. Happy discounting
