Oh - jeeze (that is why it often isn't such a great idea to piggy back on another thread which is about a totally different journey. >>But I want to make sure I understand one more thing. << did definitely seem you were asking a follow up question to the OP)

justairports.com is one of the best/cheapest car services. Would probably be £30 or £35 to Notting Hill. The HEX would be more hassle and cost more and you'd still have to get from Paddington either by tube or cab.

(Just a hint - there is no "Metro" in London. It would be the Tube or Underground. )
