Best way to get to Heathrow

Staying @ Premeir Inn County Hall and need to catch our 11:00AM flight out of Heathrow.
With 4 of us and quite a bit of luggage, what is our best transportation option?
How much time do we allow to get there?

Where are you flying to? That'd help with knowing what time you need to be at the airport assuming 11 is when your flight actually leaves

Best transportation option would be a car service. Either www.justairports.com or www.smithsforairports.com

I assume you mean how much time to allow for getting to LHR from the Premier Inn ? Depends on time of day but usually anywhere from 40 minutes to an hour.

IWould suggest a minicab. World cost around GBP 35 - 40. Allow 45 min - 60 min travel time.

2idocs, last July I left County Hall Hotel (near Westminster Bridge)using HOTEL BY BUS for Heathrow. We picked up one other party of two on the way at a nearby hotel. I believe the cost was in the 20 pound range for one. I was very satified with the service.

£20 pp for one makes some sense - but for a family of four that makes no sense at all.

And just to clarify a bit - a 'mini cab' hsv mentions is the same as a pre-booked car service. They aren't 'cabs' and aren't Mini's. They are car services.

Thanks for the replies.

Flying back to the states.
I'm assuming the car service can tell me the best pick-up time based on our flight info.
I'll probably shoot for leaving by 8AM to play it safe.

The car services may not be 'mini' and they definitely aren't black cabs (while lots of black cabs aren't black either), but they are still called 'minicabs'.

Iwould definitely go with a car service. I use Just airports and have never been disappointed. Pick up at your door in a nice large car, just your group no other pickups and right to your terminal
