Travel time to LHR
I will be staying at the Marriott Maida Vale (closest tube = Kilburn Park). I need to catch an 11:00 AM flight on a weekday.
Looking for input- should I take the tube all the way to Heathrow. If so, how much time should I allow in order to be at my terminal 2 hours ahead.
Should I take the express, and same question regarding how much time should I allow.
Appreciate everyone's input on this and my other questions.
Thanks!

Use the Journey Planner at http://www.thetube.com .
According to that, the journey with tube plus the Paddington Express will take about 40 minutes, and the journey by tube alone will take 77 minutes.

Although the tube (but not Heathrow Express) is cheaper, you might just want to consider a car service such as JustAirports.com. From your hotel to Heathrow would cost about 23-25 pounds. If they picked you up at 7:30, you could easily get to the airport 2 hours ahead of your flight and wouldn't have to deal with your luggage on the tube.
