Best way to get from Gatwick to the Langham Hilton?

I've never been to London and want to make sure I don't get lost once I touch down. I've been reading some posts and it seems like the Gatwick Express is the best method, but I'm not positive on what I would do after that to get to the Langham Hilton.
This sight has been tremendously helpful...thanks to all!

Take Gatwick express to Victoria, then join the taxi line outside the station. It isn't that far to LH in a taxi so shouldn't be expensive. Also You'll have the experience of your first London Taxi ride..a tourist treat in itself

We will be at the Langham Hilton next month and was wondering how you enjoyed your stay there. Are there many good inexpensive restaurants in the area?
