best villages in provence to visit
I'll be basing my trip in Avignon and we'll be staying at Auberge de Cassagne. We'll be there four and half days.
We are visiting Avignon, Arles, St. Remy, Pont du Gard, Gordes, Roussillon, Abbey de Senaque. Any villages I may have missed that will be worth seeing? And would anyone skip any of the villages I've mentioned? We'll be there in July. thanks Tonja

I second Uzes! Beautiful little city/town. I went on a market day, and it was there that I really felt like I got to experience what Provence is. There's not a lot in Alres. Avignon is nice, but a city, so not necessarily as charming as Uzes.

Since you'll be there in July, don't miss the lavender growing region around Sault. I posted a "lavender route" a while back - here it is:

Don't miss Uzes, and perhaps a quick walk thru of Castillion du Gard while in the area.
While in the Luberon Valley, hit Goult & Saignon also.
