Best Sorrento Hotel with a view and charm of Positano
Since I'm not able to find a nice hotel that is available in Positano and I'm taking the advise of the experts on this board...
I'm looking for a nice charming hotel with sweeping views to make up for Positano. We are planning to make a trip out to Positano and Amalfi coast and make Sorrento our base. any suggestions?

I think it would be hard to beat the views out the windows of the rooms at the Bellevue Syrene or The Tramontano. They are both perched pretty much right over the Bay of Naples. Magnificent!
We stayed at the Tramontano in July, and every night we'd spend hours on our terrace looking at that view. It's something we'll never forget.

Well, your trip is probably over, but just in case... I found this photo taken from a room at Pensione Casa Guadagno. It was on a site called Rooms With Great Views. It's nice to actually see the view itself.
