Shuttle Vienna to Crespy Krumlov & Then to Prague
Hi
We want to take a shuttle. Has anyone had any experience with the Bean shuttle company or have any suggestions on a different company? Bean had an early shuttle from Vienna to CK which we need. It is 35 euros apiece. Do you think it is necessary to book ahead? Any info would be appreciated

Um, names DO matter.
We encountered an american couple who were convinced they were totally lost - couldn't figure out how to find the road to Vienna. Since they just didn't know the correct name was Wien.

I took the Lobo shuttle from Cesky Krumlov to Linz a number of years ago. Their website says they now go from CK to Vienna. And they also go to Prague.
There is also the School Agency bus from CK to Prague.
I would book reservations.

We used Mike’s Chauffeurs and liked them a lot. We went from Prague to CK, stopped for several hours, then on to Salzburg, but I think they’ll do most anything (after dropping us off, our driver was going to Munich to pick up some clients). I know they do transfers from Vienna.
The driver was great and we had some interesting conversations (until we left CK and took a nap while he drove us to Salzburg). I can’t find my notes, but as I recall the cost for pretty much an all-day trip was reasonable, around $340.00?

Looked more closely, and they offer Vienna-CK-Prague for 7,000 CZK = $328.00 for the whole van.
I have no idea if this is in your planned budget. If I could add, however, as a point of reference- we were glad we did use them for the Prague-CK trip, as some other people who took the train from Prague to CK ran into problems making the transfer in Cesky Budejovice. We figured by the time we paid for the cab to the train, the train/ transfer (a safe place to leave our luggage in CK while touring), another train to salzburg - it was worth it to us in time and hassle.
Have fun!
